My guess is that it will be a long and bumpy process, and it will be interesting to see how much transparency the average organization can tolerate.

It brings to mind all the atttude-and-culture surveys carried out by such large consulting firms (in service to the espoused desire to develop more flexible, open, learning-oriented processes and culture) that sit gathering dust on shelves because the senior management did not want to or did not know how to address the issues the surveys contained.  The surveys at least provided distance and something to argue about / with, which more often than not led to ignoring the issues.</description>
