While IBM, Oracle and SAP might have different strategies as how to grow and win market share, they all seem to be betting their companies and futures on SOA. And it is interesting to see how they all are working together with the <a href="http://www.osoa.org/display/Main/Home" title="SCA" rel="nofollow"> specification.

Take e.g. Oracle where SCA is the strategic direction of their internal architecture for Oracle Fusion Middleware and Fusion Apps. They use SCA for the integration between Peoplesoft, JDEdwards and Siebel, but also to build apps that combine and reuse BPEL processes, business rules, etc. SCA seem to become the key enabler for SOA where the value prop is less expensive integration, more flexibility and greater reuse.
