		<description>You can&#039;t produce what you can&#039;t design. IT has already failed. While their floors may be culturally diverse, they are not &#039;practice&#039; diverse. While there are likely to be some sheep in wolves clothing on the floor (true design talents subverted themselves to fit the machine), both the operating structure of IT and the people have to change first. And this is not a retraining initiative.

The development skills are still needed, but the focus is on architecture...and at least 6 dimensions of it: data, system, function, application, process and UX (you can throw in security and network while you&#039;re at it...but then you&#039;d pretty much have come full circle to the Zachman Framework).</description>
