I&#039;ve come to the point where I find it more useful to speak in terms of knowledge work rather than knowledge worker. It&#039;s easier to point at particular tasks and activities and agree that they constitute knowledge work  than it is to agree on what the threshold might be between &quot;true&quot; knowledge worker and some poor &quot;Joe&quot; (or &quot;Jim&quot;) who happens to be doing knowledge work  at the moment.</description>
