Hagel continues to nail it. Confused general managers should listen to this interview with Jerry and then John’s keynote. Not only is the program-to-platform a sound idea at the top, it’s the song other organizational layers should be singing as well.

As a business consultant, I continually quote Hagel. It all starts with the three types of business. Every other decision –including org design–follows naturally.
