Jon. Great write up. I hadn't come across ThoughtFarmer before. Their solution has one of the most user-friendly designs that I have seen. Definitely one to explore further and put on the "client recommendations" list.

After watching the demo, I'd suggest SharePoint has a hard road to cover for mid to small market businesses. This would be a no-brainer.

I don't know the technical ins and outs to certify against issues of volume, managing for redundancy (which is a HUGE issue in SharePoint as it is), or other 'managing the stuff' sorts of considerations.

I'd welcome anyone else's perspectives...in the meantime, it's at the top of my 'why not'? list.

Hey Jon, thanks for the write-up. After your post, we got some feedback from customers who were wondering why _they_ weren't our favorite client. :-) We're going to have to send out some ThoughtFarmer coffee mugs to the runners-up.

Yes ... one could say that IDEO's core business is innovation through collaboration.

You might call them a marquee client ;-)
