Congratulations for your great article, Paula!

I'm also following up a few companies on Twitter, and I think is a very important media that they should not only pay attention to, but also explore it better.

Best,
Leo

P.s.: the link to your blog page at your Twitter account is broken (probably just a copy-and-paste error). :)

I see Zappos ads in the New York Times all of the time and keep thinking I might try them out, but then I never do because feet are so fickle and if I am unhappy with something, do I really want the hassle of breaking in a new vendor? Based on your experience, I'm going to give them a try. I know, this was not the intent of your story, but this is the affect it is having on me. :) Lori

Clearly a successful use of social media -- a bit of gaming, a bit of incentive, and a bit of novelty. It'll be interesting to see broadly these new engagements can be re-written, and how much durability the authenticity of the whole experience keeps as it is rolled out to bigger audiences with greater frequency.

The clear benefit to doing this stuff now is that social media marketing approaches haven't yet become tired!

thanks for the account!
