Bill, I'm very curious what you mean regarding MySites profile pages starting to be used creatively. We are in the influencing stage of a MySites rollout, and we see people connection going. The big buckets we see are...

- Work Data (current and historical) Function, Assignment, Division, Brands, Location, Years, Responsibilities
- Expertise (builds) - Cusomer target work, customer work, channel work, communities of practice, subject matter interest
- Education (builds) - Colleges, business schools, languages, fields of study, post-grad
- External - Company / non-profit boards, prior expertise/experience, companies you know someone at, connections to Facebook and Linked-In
- Lifestyle (voluntary - public & private) - Where grew up, where you live, relationships, established associations, teams & clubs, personal interests, ad-hoc groups

This is just the people-data though. We haven't gone into the functionality yet. Wondered if you could provide more details.

Thanks much
