And you have to get to their hearts before you can get to their heads. The burden is on those of us who see a better way to make what we see come alive for those who haven&#039;t yet gotten there.</description>

I especially like that you uncovered really old book ;-) , that gives insight to what many of us techies feel like we&#039;re fighting every day. Also your recommended thought-paradigm-shift, crafting a simple story to explain the goal is the other side of the coin needed to improve communication.

As I contemplate and struggle with the role of social &quot;tools&quot; I believe these are the lessons we need to ingest and internalize to be successful in their deployment. Being facile with the gadgets and buttons does little to bring them into our professional lives with a high degree of success. It is the surrounding stories that give a life and rich context to their application. Glad to continue the conversation with a kindred spirit. Lynda </description>
