Brown-nosing used to be the preferred method of succeeding in business without really trying. Enterprise 2.0, however, elevates the art to a different level. Thanks to Geek & Poke’s Oliver Widder for this perspective:

Brilliant! Surely if everyone in the company did that then the boss would not take any notice or come down on the people who were not 'retweeting his tweets'! Good little strip though, It shows the age we are living in, imagine seeing that 5 years ago, it wouldn't mean a thing!!
There are so many more strategies… let's see:
- find your co-workers on Facebook, find their worst personal pictures, and link to them on your company internal network
- retweet quality commentary – claiming you originated them
- post your at-work enemies on voting sites (old-style areuhotornot) and engineer that they lose big time (making them sad and distressed… so you can steal their office chair)
