I think that this is a critical point .. one that, along with the middle management chokepoint, must be considered an ongoing organizational development (OD) challenge.  &quot;Simply participating&quot; is a necessary first step to what I believe will make a new model of management necessary (as Gary Hamel gas suggested in the book The Future of Management).</description>
